Female – stray found in Waterloo – 11/20/14 8:00 AM

Female calico found in the 4300 block of Logan Ave. 11/20/14 – 4:00 PM

Grey bangle colored cat – picked up in the 2000 block of Howard Ave. 11/21/14 – noon

11/19/14 – AM Spayed female spaniel terrier mix – tan – white on chest, face and feet. Appears to be an older dog. Picked up at Sycamore and Court.

Possibly females – 1 – domestic shorthair gray – 1 – domestic longhair gray/white and brown. Picked up in the 700 block of South Street. 11/18/14.

White domestic medium hair female kitten picked up in the 3900 block of Alexandria (by WalMart) 11/17/14

Male Vista mix – picked up in the 1700 block of Independence Ave. 11/17/14.

Male Rottweiler – picked up in the 1300 block of Newell St. wearing a thick black nylon collar and dragging part of his tie out.

Male black lab mix with white on the chest. Picked up in the 1000 block of Cedar Street in North Cedar on Wednesday – 11/5 around 12:30 PM.

  • Potentially Dangerous Dog Calls
  • Aggressive Domestic Animal Calls
  • Sick or Injured Domestic Animals
  • Pick Up of “ONLY” Injured/Sick Wildlife
  • Investigate All Bite Cases Within the City Limits

The following services are provided to Cedar Falls :

  • Dogs at Large Calls
  • Pick up of Confined Domestic Animals
  • Pick up of All Dead Animals (except owner’s animals)
  • Neglected, Abused or Abandoned Animals
  • Unsanitary Condition Complaints
  • Potentially Dangerous Dog Calls
  • Investigate All Bite Cases within the City Limits
  • Pick up of ONLY injured/sick wildlife

  • Regular hours – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Monday thru Sunday
    On Call After Hours

  • All owners of lost/missing pets within Waterloo and Cedar Falls should check the “Angels for Animals” website and Facebook.

Animals may be redeemed at the City’s site during working hours or by calling Animal Control and setting up an appointment after hours.
