Picked up in Cedar Falls at the corner of 6th and Main St. Tuesday around 6:45 PM Female Terrier mix with a red braided collar and a red lead that was broken off.

  • Too Many Animals (per household) Calls
  • Dog at Large Calls
  • Pick up of Confined Domestic Animals
  • Pick up of all Dead Animals (except owner’s animals)
  • Neglected, Abused or Abandoned Animals
  • Potentially Dangerous Dog Calls
  • Aggressive Domestic Animal Calls
  • Sick or Injured Domestic Animals
  • Pick Up of “ONLY” Injured/Sick Wildlife
  • Investigate All Bite Cases Within the City Limits

The following services are provided to Cedar Falls :

  • Dogs at Large Calls
  • Pick up of Confined Domestic Animals
  • Pick up of All Dead Animals (except owner’s animals)
  • Neglected, Abused or Abandoned Animals
  • Unsanitary Condition Complaints
  • Potentially Dangerous Dog Calls
  • Investigate All Bite Cases within the City Limits
  • Pick up of ONLY injured/sick wildlife


  • Regular hours – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Monday thru Sunday
    On Call After Hours


  • All owners of lost/missing pets within Waterloo and Cedar Falls should check the “Angels for Animals” website and Facebook.

Animals may be redeemed at the City’s site during working hours or by calling Animal Control and setting up an appointment after hours.
Redemption Fees:

  • $25.00 PICK UP FEE
  • $10.00 PER DAY HOLDING FEE
