June 14, 2019 - The City of Waterloo and the contractor are continuing to work on the reconstruction of the University Avenue Reconstruction Project Phases 1 and 2 from Midway Drive to Evergreen Avenue.

During the week of June 17, 2019, University Avenue traffic will remain shifted head-to-head from west of Midway Drive to Sager Avenue.  The University Avenue head-to-head traffic will be on westbound lanes (north side) from Midway Drive to Greenhill Road and on the eastbound lanes (south side) from Greenhill Road to Sager Avenue. Progress Avenue south of University Avenue, Access A (Casey’s Frontage Rd), and Falls Avenue north of University Avenue will remain closed.  The contractor will continue to work on both Phases 1 and 2.  During this time, University Avenue will remain open and access to the frontage roads will remain. Please see the attached maps showing the construction zone highlighted for next week.
