As of March 31, 2007 the Community Development Board completed its first Housing and Urban Development Lead Grant. A total of 122 homes were assisted with this program to remediate lead based paint hazards. The Board has applied for a new lead grant which would allow us to assist another 96 properties in remediating lead based paint hazards. We hope to know by September 30, 2007 if we were successful in obtaining this grant.
