HONOR GUARD
In order to more formally represent the department, this group of dedicated volunteers formed the Waterloo Fire Rescue Honor Guard in the fall of 1994. Since its formation, this group has appeared at parades, funerals, fire station re-openings, memorials, didications, and visits by foreign dignitaries. The Honor Guard members enjoy the challenges of drilling and training for these special events. The opportunity to represent and promote Waterloo Fire Rescue in this manner is "truly an honor".
