RESCUE SERVICES DIVISION

Waterloo Fire Rescue's highly skilled and dedicated Fire Fighters are able to provide the citizens of Waterloo with around-the-clock emergency services.

This is accomplished with 21 front line units ranging from Airport Crash Fire Rescue to Aerial Ladders to Ambulances and Rescue Boats staffed by an average of 34 Fire Fighters per shift at 7 different Fire Stations.

Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to 9,445 calls for service in 2006. It is only through dedication, hard work and endless TRAINING that we are able to expertly respond to the diversity and complexity we are confronted with daily.

It is this same hard work, diversity, complexity and stress that instills in us a feeling of pride for our job and the community we serve.
