Jonathan Grieder is the Waterloo Ward 2 Council Person. He is employed by the Waterloo Community School District as a High School Social Studies teacher. He also serves as a Waterloo Youth City Council Faculty Advisor and as the High School Representative to the Waterloo Education Association Executive Board 2017-Present.
Jonathan is a 2012 graduate of Luther College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with a minor in Secondary Education. In 2017, he received a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He and his wife Kristi Grieder have one child. He is originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa.
