First Responders Fund Announced by Waterloo Community Foundation

The Waterloo Community Foundation announces the establishment of the First Responders Fund to assist our local police, fire and health care workers help our community during the COVID-19 crisis.  From now through May 31, the Foundation will match all donations up to $5,000 to help keep our community and families safe.  100% of all donations will go directly to local first responder organizations (no administrative fees will be withheld). 

Michael Broshar -- First RespondersMichael Broshar, a Waterloo native and local architect, has designed and donated this water color that supports the First Responders Fund, established earlier this month by the Waterloo Community Foundation.  This unique piece of art features a local firefighter, policeman and health care worker, the recipients of the fund’s proceeds.  Signed prints are being offered for sale for $150 each.  Proceeds above the cost of production will go to the Foundation.

The Foundation is accepting gifts of $5 or $500 – all gifts are accepted with appreciation!
