Economic Inclusion Partnership

The City of Waterloo partners with regional business & institutions of higher learning through the Economic Inclusion Partnership of the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance & Chamber.  The initiative is designed to strengthen the Cedar Valley through promoting full inclusion in business, and to focus on the importance, impact, and benefits to business of effective inclusion practices. 
The belief is that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the economy. This includes employees, employers, entrepreneurs, and customers.

Economic Inclusion Summit- takes place annually offering access to the nation's top experts in the field as well as workshops and training from local resources.

The Inclusion Toolkit is an inclusion best practices library. You will find the diversity and inclusion policies and other management tools used by Cedar Valley businesses.

Home Base Iowa: Home Base Iowa is a statewide initiative that connects veterans and transitioning service members and their families with careers and resources available through partner organizations and businesses. Black Hawk County received its designation in March 2018.
