Mayor Quentin Hart invites Waterloo residents and workforce to join him for the annual Walk Waterloo and Iowa Healthiest State Walk on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022.
The 12th Healthiest State Annual Walk will be held on October 5 and we want you to take part to help make Waterloo, Iowa one of the healthiest places in the nation.

Walk at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex over the noon hour (http://www.iowahealthieststate.com/events/walk-details/5374/)
Walk with the mayor at Lincoln Park at 5:15 and tour the Walnut Neighborhood (http://www.iowahealthieststate.com/events/annual-walk/)
Or Walk at work, in your neighborhood, WALK ANYWHERE, ANYTIME that day for 30 minutes. (www.iowahealthieststate.com/events/create-walk/)
This 30 minute walk is to promote the importance of social connectedness and physical activity. The city with the most registered walkers will win the City Challenge. If Waterloo wins, funds will be used to support LIFE GARDENS in the Cedar Valley. A Life Garden is an indoor hydroponic garden designed to grown indoors. #WalkMoreConnectMore
